The decorations for a bachelor/bachelorette party are often last minute. You choose materials that work and calculate how much you need per guest.
When organizing a bachelor or bachelorette party, the focus is usually on the program: the activity, the assignments, the restaurant. The decoration of the venue is often an afterthought on the morning of the event, only to find that there are four straws for twelve guests and the candles don't fit in the cake. That's a shame, because it's precisely the table that appears in all the photos.
This article focuses on the practical side: what materials are suitable for what, how much to budget per guest, and what you'll spend on cleanup afterward. A business-like perspective, without assumptions about what else you'll do with it.
Straws: choose by material, not by color
Straws are the most underestimated item. They run out the fastest, and the difference between types is greater than you might think.
Plastic (PVC). Sturdy, holds its shape, and works in cold drinks. Not suitable for hot drinks. The Black Penis Straws (€7.95 for 10) and Red Penis Straws (€7.95 for 10) fall into this category, as do the Pink Penis Straws (€7.95 for 10).
More affordable plastic. If quantity is your priority, consider the Beige Penis-shaped Straws (€4.95 for 10) — these cost half as much per piece.
Glass. Reusable and the only type that still looks neat afterward. The Glass Straws with Cleaning Brush (€9.95) come with a brush, and for good reason: without a brush, you can't clean a curved glass straw.
Count on two straws per guest for an evening. People put them down, grab a new glass, and lose the first one. For a group of twelve, that means three sets of ten, not two.
Candles, picks, and shot glasses: what to put on the table
On the table, it's about three functions: something in the cake, something in the snacks, and something in hand.
A Cake Fountain Candle (€4.95) is a different story: it emits sparks and therefore should not be placed under a low canopy, next to napkins, or near hairspray. Light it, place it, and stay with it. For indoor use above a table with paper decorations, a regular candle is safer.
For snacks, picks work well, such as the Stripper Picks (€7.95 for 6) or the Satay Skewers with hearts (€4.95 for 50). For holding, there are the Penis Shot Glasses with Chain (€9.95 for 12) — these hang around the neck and are therefore less likely to get lost than loose glasses. And for in the glass: Stir Sticks (€3.00).
How much to order? A calculation list per guest
The numbers below are based on the practice of a four-to-six-hour evening. Always round up to whole packages.

2 pieces per room
For balloons, it's worth considering what will remain visible throughout the evening. The LED Balloons 5 pieces (€2.95) also remain visible when the lights are dim. Large individual items like the XL Balloon 44.5 x 74 cm (€4.95) or the Balloon 81 x 65 cm (€9.95) are intended as a single eye-catcher, not a series.
For walls and doors, there are the Birthday Garlands (€4.95) and the Barrier Tape 25 meters (€2.95). This tape is the cheapest item to cordon off a corner or a table; 25 meters is enough for a substantial space.
Who is the main character? Make sure it's visible
One agreement saves a lot of hassle: the main character wears something that the rest don't. That could be a Funny Pink Cap (€14.95) or the Funny Blue Cap (€14.95) — both one size — or a wig like the Pink Penis Wig (€9.95) or the Penis Wig XXL (€14.95).
For the rest of the group, smaller distinguishing features are more practical, such as a Party Button (€4.95). If you want to award a prize during a game, the Golden Award Trophy 15x5 cm (€12.95) is suitable for that. If you're baking yourself, there's the Pink Penis Baking Mold (€5.95); silicone molds release more easily if you let them cool for ten minutes after baking before flipping them.
Delivery, storage, and cleanup
Three practical points that often come up afterward.
Order on time and to the correct address. Items from this category are sent in a neutral shipping box, but if the package is delivered to the main character's home, the surprise is ruined. Have it delivered to one of the organizers and allow for a week of leeway.
Consider what is allowed where. If you're going to a rented hall or a restaurant, ask in advance if open flames are allowed and if decorations can be attached to the wall. Many venues do not allow tape on painted stucco. Barrier tape and loose table decorations are the safe choice then.
Separate during cleanup. Glass and plastic go separately; candle remnants belong in residual waste. Reusable items — glass straws, shot glasses with chains, caps, and wigs — should be rinsed off the same evening. Sugary drinks that dry overnight are difficult to remove.
In short
First determine the number of guests, then calculate per guest, and only then place your order. Two straws and one glass per person, one set of candles plus a spare, and two garlands per room will get you a long way. Choose glass if you want to keep it, and plastic if it's disposable.
