Age policy 18+

Why we ask for your age

Verpakkingdeals.nl sells a wide range of products: packaging materials, office and school supplies, kitchen and household items, party supplies, and also an extensive erotic assortment. These two worlds should not overlap. We believe that someone looking for moving boxes or school supplies should not be inadvertently presented with erotic items, and that erotic items only belong with adults.

That is why we apply our own age policy. This is our store's own policy, with which we define what we consider responsible selling.

What the policy entails

• We sell items from our erotic assortment exclusively to persons aged 18 or older.
• Erotic categories in our store are separately placed under the entry Erotica 18+. They are not mixed with the general assortment.
• When opening an erotic category or an erotic product, we will ask for age confirmation once.
• If you order erotic items, you declare that you are 18 years or older.
• We ship erotic items in neutral packaging, with no reference to the content on the outside.

How the check works

If you open an erotic category or an erotic product, a message will appear asking if you are 18 years or older.

• If you choose Yes, I am 18 or older, we will remember that choice for thirty days in a cookie on your own device. You will not be asked again during that period. If you clear your cookies, or visit the store on a different device or in a different browser, the question will reappear.
• If you choose No, we will redirect you to the general part of the store. There you will find all non-erotic categories.

We do not store any date of birth or personal data during this check. The cookie only contains a note that the question has been answered. The message does not appear on general pages such as the homepage, packaging materials, office supplies, or party supplies.

What we ask of you

An age confirmation in a webshop is a confirmation you provide yourself. We trust that you will fill it out truthfully. If you are younger than 18, please do not use the erotica section of this store. If you are older and manage a device also used by children, please note that the confirmation will remain on that device for thirty days.

Ordering and delivery

We reserve the right to cancel an order containing erotic items if we have legitimate reason to believe that the buyer is younger than 18 years of age. Upon delivery, the carrier may request identification if the deliverer deems it necessary.

Questions or doubts

If you have doubts about this policy, see erotic items in a place where you think they don't belong, or want to report something, please contact us at info@verpakkingdeals.nl. We will look into it.
