A paddle, flogger, and whip all do something different. A commercial buying guide on shape, length, weight, material, and the maintenance involved.
Anyone looking at this category for the first time will mainly see a row of similar black and red objects. Yet, a paddle, a flogger, and a whip are three different things, each with its own weight distribution and handling method. This article is intended as straightforward product information: what forms there are, how the materials differ, and how to keep them clean.

Three basic forms at a glance
Almost everything in this category falls into one of three groups:
Paddle. A flat, stiff blade attached to a handle. The surface area is relatively large, distributing the force over a wide area. A paddle is the most predictable model of the three because its shape does not flex. The Red Paddle with Lips, 32 cm (€ 14.95) is an example of this type.
Flogger. A bundle of loose strands attached to a grip. Because the weight is distributed over many loose strands, the effect is softer and more spread out than with a single strand. Whip. A single long, thin strand that gains speed at the end. This is the most difficult model to control and requires the most space. The Black Faux Leather Whip (€ 9.95) and the Horse Whip, 220 cm (€ 19.95) fall into this category.
Those buying something for the first time usually opt for a paddle or a short flogger, simply because they are the easiest to handle in a normal room.
Length: how much space do you have?
The length is in our product title, and that's not a detail. A model from 26 to 45 cm is used with a short movement from the wrist. From about a meter, you need an arm swing, and for 200 cm and longer, a spacious, obstacle-free area is a prerequisite — a lamp or a cupboard door gets in the way faster than you think.

In this category, you will primarily encounter three material groups, each with its own character and cleaning method.
Faux leather (PU/PVC). Most common. Feels smooth, is lightweight, and can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth. Disadvantage: the coating can eventually crack if the material is often sharply folded or exposed to the sun. The Red Whip (€ 9.95) and the Erotic White Whip, 45 cm (€ 24.95) fall into this group.
Silicone. Flexible, non-porous, and therefore the easiest to clean thoroughly. Silicone is heavier than faux leather of the same dimensions, which changes its behavior. Note: silicone and silicone lubricant do not mix well; choose a water-based product instead.
Synthetic hair or fiber bundles. As with most floggers. These bundles are lightweight and distribute the mass. However, they are the most difficult to clean because moisture can remain between the strands — proper spreading out and allowing them to dry completely is key here.
Cotton is a fourth material you might find in this niche, especially for ropes. The Kinky Rope cotton bondage rope, 5 meters (€ 7.95) is soft and washable, but it absorbs moisture, so it must dry completely after use before being stored.
Cleaning and Storage
Most products in this category will last for years, provided you don't store them damp. Practical tips:
Do not submerge. For handles made of wood, metal, or glued material, water can seep into the seam between the handle and the blade. Wiping with a damp cloth and then drying is the safest method for faux leather.
Allow it to dry completely before storing. Especially with floggers and cotton rope: folded in a closed box, nothing dries.
Hang them up if possible. Most models have a loop or ring on the handle. Hanging a flogger helps it maintain its shape and prevents kinks in the strands.
Store separately. Dark plastic and faux leather can transfer color to lighter materials when they lie against each other for extended periods. A cotton bag or a separate box for each item prevents this.
No sunlight. UV light discolors and hardens plastic coatings.
What to look for in the finish
Upon receipt, check three things: is the handle firmly attached to the blade or bundle, are the edges of a paddle smoothly finished, and are there no loose staples or protruding needle points in the attachment. These are the most important quality criteria for such products — more important than appearance. If something is wrong with a product you ordered from us, please let us know; we will resolve it.
